Erika Makino stole all our hearts with a dance of great grace and charm

This photo is the favourite of Kosuke Makino (Macky) who wanted everyone to see it.

It was taken at Devil's Bridge.

We do not know who the two young men at the back of the picture are - we presume they have recently escaped from a secure place!

Sally looks a little worried!

Shin is catching up on his sleep!!

A picture from Erika Makino showing the students wearing the Penglais sweatshirts presented to them by Mr Davey, the Headteacher of Penglais School.
This picture was provided by Masayuki Kurokawa and is a re - enactment of a picture from the 2003 exchange which he first saw before coming to Wales
This picture was taken in the Sixth Form Centre just before the students left for Oxford. " But Fred and Kousuke Makino (Macky) were late and they were not in this picture.  I think it is a pity." (They were sleeping!)
